OmiGroup Sucessfully Organized Seminar “Generative AI in Healthcare” - A Strong Reform in Quality of Medical Services

On 25 July, Omi Korea (a member of OmiGroup) successfully organized the "Generative AI Applications in Healthcare" seminar in Seoul, South Korea to share and discuss the opportunities, challenges, and new techniques in deploying Generative AI (GenAI) in healthcare. The event attracted significant interest and participation from many South Korean digital healthcare businesses.

The seminar focused on how GenAI is applied globally in the healthcare and medical sectors.  It provided a comprehensive overview of GenAI applications by all stakeholders in the healthcare industry, from pharmaceutical companies to healthcare facilities, insurance companies, medical devices, and public health institutions. These applications aim to enhance the quality of medical services, improve user experiences, and increase work efficiency.

At the seminar, Mr. Tran Quoc Dzung, CEO of OmiGroup, provided an in-depth analysis of the global prospects of artificial intelligence (AI), with specific examples of AI and GenAI applications in Japan developed by OmiGroup. By introducing OmiGroup's case studies on integrating regenerative AI, he affirmed the company's commitment to collaborating with South Korean digital healthcare ICT businesses to jointly develop and enhance the quality of digital healthcare applications.

 

Professor Kang Mi Ra from Samsung Medical Center Seoul presented research and plans to integrate GenAI into hospital operations, automating documentation and other tasks to reduce work pressure and improve management efficiency.

Mr. Kim Tae Gyu, CEO of Deepnoide, shared practical applications of GenAI, specifically in analyzing X-ray images to assess lung damage. This technology not only helps doctors make quick diagnoses but also contributes to the effective prevention and treatment of lung diseases.

During the seminar, Omi Korea officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Electronics Association (KEA).

This event marks OmiGroup's effort to promote AI applications suited to the Vietnamese market while supporting South Korean businesses in entering this potential market. Omi Korea will provide consulting services to enhance digital transformation in the Vietnamese market for South Korean businesses in the digital healthcare sector, aiming to foster bilateral relations and improve healthcare service quality in both countries.
